do not let me input password after running

When I run synaptic,it doesn't let me input the root's password and just say I run without root privilege.

How do you run synaptic ?
Menu System --> Administration --> Synaptic ?
or from the command line ? Make sure to use : "sudo synaptic" or "gksu synaptic" from command line.

From command line, execute :
ls /usr/share/applications/synaptic.desktop
and make sure it's output is as follows :
/usr/share/applications/synaptic.desktop

Execute :
grep gksu /usr/share/applications/synaptic.desktop
The output should be as follows :
Exec=gksu /usr/sbin/synaptic
