Installing version 1:8.04+20080929 (hardy-proposed )wipes out Finnish translation for Firefox 3. It's explained in a similar report:

I'm filing a new report, because of a different source package. Please ignore, if this is considered to be a duplicate.

So - it writes empty directories over the existing ones(?) Relevant jar files etc. are found both in language-pack-fi (hardy-updates) and language-pack-fi-base (hardy-updates). It's out of my comprehension, why they are packaged in both packages.

Fixed Intrepid package (language-pack-fi-base) is OK. Please fix this before moving to hardy-updates.

When this bug will be fixed to Hardy-proposed repos. Fix for Intrepid came many days ago.
