Compiz core dumps in Intrepid

Binary package hint: compiz

When I run compiz, I get this error:

Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I am running Intrepid Beta, and using nvidia-177 driver.

I tried to run compiz.real from gdb, I got the following at crash:
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0xb801b45d in XGetXCBConnection () from /usr/lib/libX11-xcb.so.1

Versions of compiz & libx11-xcb1 that I am using:
compiz-core 1:0.7.8-0ubuntu2
libx11-xcb1 2:1.1.5-2ubuntu1

I also tried with nvidia 173 driver, still same problem.

I tried with each of those nvidia drivers:
nvidia-173-kernel-source 173.14.12-1-0ubuntu3
nvidia-177-kernel-source 177.80-0ubuntu1

This problem has gone after I have upgraded to Jaunty beta.

I think that some old xcb library had to be removed for that to work
