Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdebase

Not sure what happened here, but turned on the PC and it prompted me for this - was playing with konq's bookmarks, I imported ones from firefox and tried to update favicons (which incidentally did not work). This is in Intrepid.

This needs to be forwarded upstream. It looks like a crash occured while you were editing you bookmarks. ;-)

I notice the crash on Kubuntu 9.0 Alpha 3 when trying to move a bookmark subfolder from one place to another. Moving a single bookmark in my case, works without problems.

It happened to me every time I tried to move a bookmark from one folder to another (contrary to Mario A. Vazquez case even a single one, not only a whole folder). Copying, cutting and pasting via Ctr+(a key) or menu/Edit/command works.

Kubuntu Alfa 5, updated

It still hapens, even after an upgrade to KDE 4.2.2. Contrary to my prevoius note, operations using CTR+(a key) on larger (approx. > 5) bookmarks couse the error.

It happens for me soon after starting KDE 4.2.2 . I have a new installation of Kubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Beta with ext4-partitions.

Crashes on moving bookmarks are other bugs. This crash involving the favicon updating seems to be fixed in KDE 4.3.
