Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz
Intrepid, running compiz and NewHuman theme.
Sometimes some windows don't refresh properly. Seeing this currently in Firefox and in gnome-terminal running screen & irssi. Hitting keyboard commands that should change the window contents results in partial redrawing but not a full window refresh. For example, pagedown in Firefox will redraw part of the window but the rest is unchanged. Clicking on the window causes the window to refresh.
compiz version 1:0.7.8-0ubuntu1

Same problem since the last upgrade yesterday (intrepid beta), while it works quite fine before, just some very small glitches on the systray for example in hardy.
Firefox is unusable with this problem.
It happens when --loose-bindings is enabled in compiz (which is the default if the card is nvidia).
If I disable --loose-bindings :
/usr/bin/ compiz. real --ignore- desktop- hints --replace --replace core ccp compiz. real --ignore- desktop- hints --replace --loose-binding --replace core ccp
instead of
/usr/bin/
there is no problem (except of course compiz effects are far slower).
