Please, can you explain what did you do. And can you try to obtain a backtrace by following the instructions on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash.

(sudo aptitude install nautilus-dbg gdb
and see here for backtrace https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace)

Set to incomplete until we have a backtrace or more info.

This has only happened the once after upgrading 7.10 => 8.04.
If it happens again I will try to gather the information you need.
