Bug Description

I was attempting to follow the instructions for adding MP3 support for
MusicBrainz tagging, as seen at the bottom of this page:
http://amarok.kde.org/amarokwiki/index.php/MP3_on_Ubuntu_5.10

I attempted the comand "sudo apt-build --reinstall install libtunepimp2c2".
apt-build segfaults after spitting out the following errors:

-----> Building libtunepimp <-----
dpkg-buildpackage: source package is libtunepimp
dpkg-buildpackage: source version is 0.3.0-2ubuntu7

This may or not be related to the following error, printed near the begining of
the apt-build output:

E: Build-Depends dependency for libtunepimp cannot be satisfied because no
available versions of package libflac-dev can satisfy version requirements

Let me know if you need any more information about my setup.

sudo apt-get install cdbs

Do you have to do a apt-get build-dep libtunepimp before doing apt-build? i dont remember.

This is not actually a bug, you are just missing build dependencies (apt-get build-dep libtunepimp).

Also, Ubuntu now has a separate packages for MP3 support, libtunepimp3-mp3 and libtunepimp5-mp3, so manual building is not neccessary.
