Kubuntu intrepid halts without asking if I press power button

Bug Description

In kubuntu intrepid 64bit if I press power button computer halts without ask nothing, this is a regression since ubuntu hardy with GNOME ask me what to do when I press than button.

I have the same problem with the Kubuntu Intrepid release candidate on an x86_64 machine.

It's not a regression. Kubuntu in Hardy is the same.

You're quite right, it's the same behavior as Kubuntu Hardy but different from Ubuntu Hardy. If halting without confirmation is the intended behavior, could you please mark this as invalid? Otherwise, it should probably be wishlisted.

Thanks for setting the importance. As long as we're making wishes, maybe someone could add a configuration option to guidance-power-manager that asks the user what should happen when the power button is pressed. Bringing up the leave screen could be one of the options. There's already a configuration option that asks the user what should happen when the lid is closed.

Confirmed, when pressing the power button just halts, no showdown dialog.

In Kubuntu Hardy there was a dialog after pressing the power button.
