close group function in windows freezes inkscape

Bug Description
When trying to close a number of grouped together instances of inkscape using the close group function in the taskbar the program freezes.
using windows xp, inkscape 0.46
steps to reproduce
1. open inkscape - draw something(eg a circle)
2. open a new doc - draw something(eg rectangle)
3. open a new doc - draw something(eg stars)
4. minimise all the windows
if you have lots of other programs the instances will group together
5. right click on the grouped instances and select close group
each instance can be viewed but is unresponsive
