Bug Description
Binary package hint: ktorrent
When I load a torrent with many files and folders and select all of them to be downloaded everything is ok.
Before downloading if I select only few files, the're also ok.
After downloading some of the files, when I select some of the previosly not downloaded files, there's some miscalculation with the file size. SRT files, wich according to the torrent info are 56KB when downloaded become 3.2MB.
The subtitle files are readable, but when opened with Kate, there's a message saying "The file ....... is a binary, saving it will result in a corrupt file."
I'm using Kubuntu 8.04.1 and KTorrent 2.2.5 (2.2.5-0ubuntu1)
I figured that this problem has something to do with the preallocation option wich I use, so i tried either basic (slow) and filesystem specific.
Does this still happen with the KDE 4 version of KTorrent? It is much more advanced and reliable than the KDE 3 version.
