With these commands you should be able to upgrade
dpkg --configure -a
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
apt-get dist-upgrade
maybe you need to do some of them more than once

Remember that dapper is in development.

upgrade from breezy to dapper (2006-03-12) works for me.
