Bug Description

Binary package hint: slocate

A feature request, really, but with an attached patch. :)

Currently, cron will update the slocate database daily regardless of the power status of the laptop. As this is a very IO-intensive operation, this is likely to degrade system battery life significantly. For this reason, I believe that the update of the database should be disabled when on battery.

I've attached a patch to /etc/cron.daily/slocate that disables updates based on the on_ac_power script. Not quite sure how to format it to be appropriate for inclusion, but it's tiny.
