Bug Description

Hi folks,

I have a problem:
after a undetermined time, some gnome applications freeze and they don't start again. (evolution, gedit, gnome-terminal, file-roller, ...)

I think that the problem is the pulse daemon, when I kill it or when I disable gnome-sound, all things works perfectly (but with no sound)

I don't know how to reproduce the problem but they don't work because they are reading esd socket (see annex)

additional info

iuri@cego:~$ ls -l /tmp/.esd-1000/socket
srwxrwxrwx 1 iuri iuri 0 2008-10-08 08:51 /tmp/.esd-1000/socket

iuri@cego:~$ ps axuw | grep [p]ulse
iuri 6220 0.4 0.4 77836 6080 ? Sl 08:51 1:55 /usr/bin/pulseaudio --log-target=syslog
iuri 6223 0.0 0.1 5776 1432 ? S 08:51 0:00 /usr/lib/pulseaudio/pulse/gconf-helper

How can I help you all?
