Progress bar in the upload and download dialogs

Would it be possible to include a progress bar in the upload and download dialogs? Visual feedback that the program didn't freeze is good.

What is a "multiple-step" procedure? I haven't been able to identify any to see.

"multiple-step" procedures:
1) restore the session when starting gscrot (there is a dialog showing the progress)
2) open multiple files at once using file->open
3) upload more than one image (in the session tab)

"single-step" procedures:
1) take screenshot of website
2) executing a plugin (especially the imagemagick plugins)

Where does uploading a single image fall into?

Well, ok...this is a "single-step" procedure.
There is a progress bar as well but it shows just the start of the transaction and the end. It is not a progress of the upload itself (byte by byte).
