This crappy software gets SLOWER and freezes more with each upgrade -- i'm counting the days for Chrome to be launched for Linux.

Do you intend this to be a useful bug report or are you just whinging? Firefox 3 actually fixed a *lot* of Firefox 2's memory leak issues.

I acknowledge 3.1 alpha 2 is better, but 3.0.3 is a crap.

Alvaro, please direct such complaints to http://hendrix.mozilla.org, it saves the Ubuntu folk time. Also try Konqueror, it's not bad.

Don't forget: Each Fx upgrade adds a lot of new features. Most are invisible, like phishing protection and the more-reliable sqlite storage system.
