Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

Hello,
I test the Intrepid beta live CD at the moment.
If I go to a site with flash or java or something like that firefox opens the Plugin Finder Service, which is a good thing.
But then I have the choice to install the GJC Web Browser Plugin or the GJC Web Browser Plugin (using OpenJDK). For a normal user it is hard to decide, because he does not know the difference between them. The OpenJDK version should be default because it uses the open java certified from sun, doesn`t it? But now to the bug.
Under every choice there is the following text.

No description found in plugin database.
Report a bug to <email address hidden>

This looks even worse for an end user. And this problem does not only exist for java, it exists for flash in the same way. And there the user does not get any help to decide, that gnash is the best choice for a flash alternate, too.

All this looks not very ready and the end user gets no help how to decide and should even report bugs.

Although this bug was created before the other, I mark this as a duplicate of bug 291417. The most important this is, that it's fixed. Thanks everyone involved.
