[Regression] Lost Sound after upgrade to 2.6.27-5 (ATI sound card)

On a system with the following sound card:

1002:4370
00:14.5 Multimedia audio controller: ATI Technologies Inc IXP SB400 AC'97 Audio Controller (rev 02)

and a fresh Intrepid-beta install, sound worked fine. After upgrading from Kernel 2.6.27-4 to 2.6.27-5 sound went lost.

I attach two links with the alsa-info.sh results from the working and not working kernel.

Kernel 2.6.27-4 / Sound works:

Thanks for the information. I've done a diff on your two logs and there's no indication as to why your sound is broken. Can you please attach the following information. Please be sure to attach each file as a separate attachment.

* cat /proc/version_signature > version.log
* dmesg > dmesg.log
* sudo lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.log

it works now with Kernel 2.6.27-6.

It still doesn't work for me. I'm on 2.6.27-7-generic , 64bit
