ipod nano 3g not working

Hello, I have banshee 1.2.1-3ubuntu1 and an ipod nano 3g
rhythmbox correctly works with it, but banshee shows a message which tells that it's impossible to read the ipod.
This is what podsleuth shows

Hi, can you test if this bug happens with the Banshee 1.4.2? It's in Jaunty, and in the PPA (https://launchpad.net/~banshee-team/+archive/ppa)
