Here is what is causing the error:

Could you please run:
$ dpkg --get-selections > /tmp/pkgs.txt

and attach that file to this bugreport? Along with your /etc/apt/sources.list I will try to reproduce this problem.

And then:
$ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade --simulate -o Debug::pkgPackageManager=true 2>/tmp/debug.txt
and attach the resultuing file.
