Bug Description
Binary package hint: evince
When I print a pdf in evince, but only want to print a couple of pages in the middle, the way to do this is with the "Range" option in the print dialog.
However, this is just a text field. The correct thing to enter here is something like 12:14 for pages 12 to 14, but there is no text explaining this.
What's needed is two text fields, labeled start page and end page (with defaults 1 and the number of pages in the document, respectively).
evince version 2.22.2-0ubuntu1 in Ubuntu Hardy.

Hello,
I don't think it's a good idea to replace this text field by one, because it removes the possibility to print several ranges at once, separated by commas.
Example:
1-3,87-88 will print pages 1,2,3 and 87,88
That's a feature I actually use a _lot_.
What we need here is a descriptive textbox above the current textfield giving an example. Like "1-3,87-88 will print pages 1,2,3 and 87,88".
And BTW, I'm not sure this bug should be linked to evince. Isn't the print dialog a shared GNOME component? Does somebody know where it's from?
Thanks!
