Bug Description

My synaptic Package manager says I have installed Adobe Flash version 9.0.124, but the tools add-ons options on Firefox shows I only have 9.0 r100. I apparently need 9.0.115 or later to get some things working I want to use, so 124 is what I need. What gives? It's like flash is installed at 124, but not for Firefox.

I just checked this again, and I tried several things with the add-on area, symaptic, and installs and reinstalls. I always end up showing 9.0.152 flashplugin-nonfree installed on my laptop, but only 9.0 r100 available on my Firefox.

I just tried some uninstalls and reinstalls of the plugins, and it did not change the firefox behavior, but it did break the way my Opera was working so that now I cannot use it on Rhapsody Online anymore. I recomment, at this point, if you have Opera working, ignore Firefox. It obviously is not well supported on 64bit. I hope I don't have too much to do to get my Opera back working on 64bit Ubuntu. It is a far better user experience anyway.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest versions of Ubufox, Firefox, and Flash? Thanks in advance.
If you're still having issues, can you please let us know what versions of ubufox, firefox, ubuntu, and flash you are running?

not an ubufox bug (not a bug at all most likely). you probably have libflashplayer.so in your profile installed (which would hide the system version)
