Binary package hint: compiz

How to reproduce bug;

I can confirm this bug on 2 ubuntu distriutions: 7.10 & 8.04, I didn't check other distributions. How to reproduce this bug:

1. turn on compiz.real
2. switch using ctrl + alt + F1 (for example) to tty1 (for example) on computer with turned on compiz.real when somebody is using Xorg & GDM (for example you).
3. log in and check CPU usage, by typing for example top
4. compiz.real is using always all free resources of procesor's core where he is executed.

This bug is not existing when you connect to computer using other machine via ssh.

I can answer to any questions.

Regards!

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04? Thanks in advance.
