Firefox doesn't save changes in menubar with TMP and Ubufox

When using Ubufox and the extension "Tab Mix Plus" [1] (even in the newest release 0.3.7pre.081003), one could not save changes made in the menubar.

For instance, when you try to replace the home-icon with the chronicle-icon in the menubar by clicking View > Toolbar > Customize, you can drag & drop the little house in front of the addressbar into the just opened window and replace it by the Chronicle (e.g.). After restarting Firefox the changes won't take place.

This fails even with a completely new profile. Just add Tab Mix Plus as the only add-on (besides Ubufox) and changes won't take place. With UbuFox being uninstalled, Tab Mix Plus works just fine.

Checkable with 8.04 and 8.10 and Fox 3.0.1 - 3.0.3

Edit: I did a little research and found out that Ubufox has been upgraded twice since July developing the above mentioned problems:

18.09.2008: ubufox (0.6~b1-0ubuntu1) to 0.6~b1-0ubuntu2
25.09.2008: ubufox (0.6~b1-0ubuntu2) to 0.6~b1-0ubuntu4

I am also experiencing this problem on Intrepid with firefox 3.0.3+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu1, ubufox 0.6~b1-0ubuntu4 and TMP 0.3.7 final. If I disable ubufox or TMP the problem goes away.

When I was testing and trouble shooting yesterday i found that this bug occurs with TMP alone on Firefox 3.1. On the default Firefox 3.0 the plugins conflict and the bug doesn't occur unless both are installed. I'm not entirely sure this is Ubfox's fault or TMP.

I can confirm this behavior. This will occur if TMP is initialized before Ubufox. If you edit the file "extensions.ini" within the profile so UbuFox is initialized prior TMP it seems to work fine. I.e:

This is only a temporary work around until the developer of TMP and UbuFox speak together and decide who has to update his coding. Until then if you install another extension or update an extension the arrangement of the source lines may revert the manually changes.
