Although things seem to work outside of the crashing, it still sucks. I think it's already caused some confusion in bzr (got a warning about the repository and files being out of sync and to please run bzr update)
Anyhow, bzr-dbus should fail gracefully if it can't get or launch d-bus, not crash and burn and potentially take my files with it.
This is fixed in the debian package.
