Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

This issue is still present in Jaunty.

Changing nvidia-settings scaling method to "aspect ratio scaled" improves, but does not resolve the issue (the bottom of the screen is clipped).

Changing the nvidia-settings scaling method to "centered" yields only a black screen.

Changing the nvidia-settings scaling method to "scaled" has the same (or similar) effect as aspect ratio scaled.

Sorry no-one got back to you on this. Can you test this with the latest Live CD of the development release Lucid Lynx? Thank you.
