Bug Description

Hello,

If you use CDATA and a special character in a tooltip, the created menu doesn't work.

Because my english is bad, check out this screenshot:
 http://www.ubuntu-pics.de/bild/4031/easymenu_bug_zi3XQX.png

I think I found the reason for this bug:

<tooltiptext locale="de-DE"><![CDATA[Alles rund um Musik, Video & Co.]]></tooltiptext> => BUG
<tooltiptext locale="de-DE"><![CDATA[Alles rund um Musik, Video und Co.]]></tooltiptext> => everything ok
<tooltiptext locale="de-DE">Alles rund um Musik, Video und Co.</tooltiptext> => everything ok

I hope you know what I mean...

JaiBee

Thank you for reporting this bug. I have found that there is an encoding problem in the DTD generated files.

The bugfix can be found both in the 1.0 series ( lp:~volans/easymenu/1.0 ) and in the trunk (development) series ( lp:easymenu ).
Probably I will release the 1.0.1 version with this bugfix soon.

Changed in easymenu:
assignee: nobody → volans
importance: Undecided → High
status: New → Fix Released
