We're discarding the ubuntu packaging and switching to debian's.

This has the same issues as the journal activity.
Also, there is a patch included for the gtksourceview2 API, gtksourceview2. Looking closer, it seems this
does this work on Ubuntu, we have a different version of
python-
patch isn't applied, is that correct?
