Bug Description
Binary package hint: nexuiz
Description: Ubuntu 8.04.1
Release: 8.04
nexuiz:
Installed: 2.4-1
Candidate: 2.4-1
Version table:
*** 2.4-1 0

100 /var/lib/
When you start Nexuiz (freshly installed via Ubuntu repositories in this case), it seems to check for an update and continues to nag the user with a yellow rectangle which says something like "Upgrade to Nexuiz 2.4.2 now!". While this probably is a good thing for online gaming compatibility etc., it should probably be disabled like in Firefox or Warsow.

With the upstream release of nexuiz 2.5, this issue may soon become relevant to all Ubuntu releases.
