Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz
I'm testing Ubuntu 8.10 beta live CD.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Run Ubuntu 8.10 beta live CD.
2. Select "Normal" or "Extra" Visual Effects -> this actives Compiz.
3. Since then, sometimes, when I click on a window to select it, the window doesn't raise properly. The title bar remains in grey and doesn't change to orange/brown (seems to be unselected). It's very irritating, and this problem doesn't appear on Hardy.

Latest compiz updates doesn't solve the problem.
Another very easy way to reproduce the issue is opening a window and moving the mouse over the top-right buttons in the title bar (minimize, maximize & close), rhythmically left and right, right and left. You can see the title bar changes from orange/brown to grey.
