Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdebase

vitor@seattle:~$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu intrepid (development branch)
Release: 8.10

vitor@seattle:~$ uname -a
Linux seattle 2.6.27-4-generic #1 SMP Wed Sep 24 01:30:51 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux

KDE 4.1.2

There's a lot of flickering in Flash videos in Firefox 3 that wasn't happening in Kubuntu 8.04 with KDE 3.5. Tried to watch a video and the flickering was so bad I couldn't see anything. So I moved away from the webpage with the video and "Crash Handler" came up with the bug report.

Moments later I opened the video in YouTube again and watched it normally.

Please install kdebase-dbg and try to retrigger the crash and get a new trace.
Thank you.

I installed kdebase-dbg but I don't know if I'll be able to retrigger the crash. With all the latest updates, I'm now able to watch Flash videos and any other kind of flash content without flickering. If, however, it happens again, I'll send the stack trace. For now, I think the issue is solved. Thank you.
