Not using ubuntu.com as sender domain triggers blocking of mail by spamfilters. See below.

I believe this problem should be fixed now. Bugmail now has a header like:
Received-SPF: neutral (gmail.com: 82.211.81.139 is neither permitted nor denied by best guess record for domain of <email address hidden>)
Does this fix the problem for you?
