Bug Description

Using Kubuntu 8.04, the volume control keys on the keyboard change the volume in increments of approximately 9%, which is not fine-grained enough, producing a distinct variation in sound output level between individual keypresses. The increments should be of 5% or less.

you can set the volume steps in gconf "/apps/gnome_settings_daemon/volume_step"
