Entity References Display Raw In Title

When entity references (such as &squo;/& squo ;/(')) are placed in a title, they are displayed in their raw form - (&squo;/& squo ;). The page I noticed this issue on claimed to be XHTML 1.0 Transitional - but wasn't. It also appears that the particular squo entity is not in XHTML 1.0 Transitional. I'm not sure if this behaviour is correct according to W3C, but it isn't particularly useful.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04? Thanks in advance.

This issue still affects me on Firefox 3.0.5. on Ubuntu 8.04.

I don't have time to install another version of Ubuntu - but I am running the major version of Firefox that's in Ubuntu 8.10 and 9.04.
