Attached patch fixes this by testing for attribute's existence with try, and if exception, providing a value of False with catch clause.

Patch is wrong. cupshelpers. Printer. _expand_ flags always sets 'rejecting'.
It suggests that printer.update() is not called when it should be, and that needs to be found. If 'rejecting' is not set, the printer is just invalid.
