gnome-background-properties : can't select mounted partitions

Dapper (probably true for all previous releases, can't remember...)

1) System -> Preferences -> Desktop Background
2) Click on the "Add Wallpaper" button
3) Watch in the left pane for the various "Places" : I can see "Desktop", my
"bookmarks", "File System", "Home", but I can't see my mounted partitions (I
mounted 2 partitions). These partitions show up just fine anywhere else in
Nautilus and its dialog windows... except here.

I even can't go that far. When I click on add wallpaper
gnome-background-properties crashes.

the issue is fixed with GNOME3 in Oneiric, closing the bug
