Bug Description
Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird
On an Intrepid Alpha 6 x86_64 install in French & up to date, Thunderbird doesn't offer any English spellchecker, even though all the English support packages are installed.
Methods to reproduce the bug : launch Thunderbird, chose New>Message (CTRL-N), click in the message, then try to select the language with the spellchecker icon (see attached snapshot). English isn't offered.
Expected behavior : a choice of languages is offered, including the default English (uk or USA).
What I get : only fr_FR is offered.
It would seem as if Thunderbird uses only the locale it's started with. However, when started from a terminal after exporting an English locale (~$export LANG="en_US.UTF-8" ), even though Thunderbird use an English interface, the only spellchecker offered is still in French (see 2nd attached snapshot).
