kile froze after saving

Binary package hint: kile

I found my kile froze after either manually saving or automated saving. I couldn't type any character into my TeX file after the saving.

My ubuntu version is 8.10 alpha 6.

$ uname -a
Linux Xem 2.6.27-4-generic #1 SMP Wed Sep 24 01:29:06 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux

My computer is affected also. My ubuntu version is 8.10.

I found I can continue editing after any (not tested on "any") mouse events, like clicking icons on the toolbars.

Thank you for your response, not "any". But after most click, editing could be continue.

This problem is gone with the version present in jaunty. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
