Bug Description
When I use the volume control buttons (silver buttons next to the blue ThinkVantage button) on the Thinkpad T61p, the on-screen display shows the volume increasing, decreasing, and muting but the volume settings on the Thinkpad do not actually change and the volume applet on the task bar doesn't change (eg if it's muted, it stays muted regardless).
This is on Hardy with all the updates installed.
