keep cannot display a log of backup

keep 0.4.0-1ubuntu3

I have just tested keep and I think it is a neat way of making backups but I had a few errors while testing it.

backup log does not show anything, should log backup and restores with specifics on dates.

1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem,

I'm sorry if the previous description was inadequate

Steps to reproduce:

1) sudo apt-get install keep
2) run keep
3) start the daemon
4) create a backup /input /output
5) select "backup now"
6) select "view backup log"

Result: (see attachment) nothing displayed in log
Expected: one line saying that backup was run and was successful
