Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

Aside from error messages by network-manager that appear on the console when shutting down (Bug #216908), occasionally, on the Dell Inspiron 7000 Laptop I'm using, in addition to those errors, the phrase "network-manager: (no debugging symbols found)" will be printed to the console several times, which I can only assume to mean that it completely crashed and is trying to give me information as to where it crashed. Upon restarting the computer, I am not prompted to submit any bug reports, and there is nothing in /var/crash.

The computer is running Xubuntu 8.04.1, and is using a TrendNet TU2-ET100 USB Network Adapter (kernel module "asix").
