Me-TV worked yesterday, but today it won't start. It gives me this error on the command line:

Me TV must have terminated unexpectedly (either a crash or system halt). The EPG file was probably only half written. Delete it and start again.

Changed in me-tv:
status: New → Invalid

Ah, I had done "sudo apt-get purge me-tv", so I assumed that all such things had been cleared out.

~/.me-tv/epg.xml was blank. I've now deleted it, and Me-TV starts.

Perhaps you could fix this bug by making Me-TV treat empty files as non-existent.

Thanks.

You'll need to talk to the libxml2 guys to get that fixed, this error message is from that library,

parser error : Start tag expected, '<' not found

Also, 0.6 doesn't use XML files so the issue is already fixed.
