[Intrepid] Unable to customize Firefox toolbars (ubufox vs. tab mix plus conflict?)

I updated to Intrepid a little over a day ago, and ever since I've been unable to customize or move anything in my navigation/toolbars. I'm aware that firefox was upgraded to 3.0.3, so I removed my profile directory and tried again from scratch. But I'm still unable to change anything. What could be causing it?

Hi,

I think I have the same issue. Downloaded the beta Alternate CD on the 23rd of october and installed fresh on a new laptop. I update at least twice per day. I am able to customize the toolbar, but after I close firefox and start it again, the changes are lost and I get the default lay-out.

If there is anything I can do to help solve this, please let me know!

Just an update,

I found out that my problem is caused by the "Tab Mix Plus" Add-on. After disabling it, my customizations remain after a firefox restart.

Will keep it like this for now. Sorry for my mis-posting...

According to a poster on the Tab Mix Plus forums, and confirmed on my system, the problem is a conflict between the "Ubuntu Firefox Modifications" extension and TMP. Since my life depends on TMP, I disabled the Ubuntu extension, and customization works again.
