Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

When clicking on the attachment "d2 dab bbc test.zip" in
http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=8126
it tries to open the archive as a text file in a new tab.
This is the same in Windows XP and Kubuntu Hardy 8.4.1, but MS Explorer saves it as a zip file correctly.

I may be wrong but using wireshark you can see that you receive the next line:
'Content-Type: text/html'
which says to the browser it's a html page.

So it's a problem of that particular forum, but to discard it... can you provide us another link in which is happening the same?

Hello Pablo, I have not seen this problem elsewhere. But what concerns me is that MS explorer handles correctly, and Firefox does not.

Yes, I agree with you, but standards were made to be respected and it's well-known that IE doesn't do it.
So, in my opinion this bug should be filed against osCommerce.
I won't close this bug as I'm not very sure. Maybe another user/developer can offer you a better answer.
