intrepid: rendering bug on kde4 desktop

When I have a folder on my desktop - like the 'desktop' folder - and single-click on one of the items, then a white dot shows at the upper left end of the first letter. it can be seen in the attached picture. Clicking on empty space within this folder view removes the selection, but leaves the dot. Clicking outside removes the dot; clicking inside again re-shows the dot.

I can confirm this bug on my PC too.
Ubuntu Intrepid alpha 6, with KDE4 (Kubuntu) 32-bit

I don't really see how this can be triaged. We would still need to:
-Determine whether it's a problem with Qt or something specific to Plasma
-Determine whether it's a driver issue
-File an upstream report at KDE if it does turn out to be a KDE/Qt problem.

before this could be marked as triaged. Right now we don't really know much about the problem aside that some users have it.

I myself can't reproduce this bug, so it's probably not a simple graphical glitch on KDE's part.

I think I know what this was. In KDE 4.1.1 several widgets would get black dots when they were focused. I suffered form this bug too. Everything seems to be OK in 4.1.2 though.

after updating today to KDE 4.1.2 the white dot has disappeared!
