Ok It didn't add my DVD because my Home directory was selected in preferences. It should automagicaly select DVD or CD when it's present or it should ask.

Another way of getting this bug is to delete previously added Home directory.
How to get stacktrace?

This is a fix for this bug
just replace the following files.

patch send it to upstream

"at revision 0.3.4 when pressing the add button, the media is looked at
/media/cdrom by default or a folder defined in preference.
using a external USB-CDROM on ubuntu will be mounted on /media/<cd-rom
label> having to specify this path each time to add the media to the
database in preference menu.

the following patch will look all mounted removables devices and add it to
the database, (usb sticks, external usb-HD/CD/DVD also normal CD-ROMS),
this for example will scan all media and add it at one if you have more
that one driver instead of add it one-by-one."
