Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntu-artwork

The file available at file:///usr/share/ubuntu-artwork/home/locales/index-C.html mentions the IRC channel #ubuntu, but does not provide an irc:// protocol link to allow for opening it with Pidgin (or another IRC client). Rather, it is just plain text.

This is in Intrepid, as of the 25th of September.

Ubuntu 8.10 (intrepid) reached end-of-life on April 30, 2010.

We appreciate that this bug may be old and you might not be interested in discussing it any more. But if you are then please upgrade to the latest Ubuntu version and re-test.
