Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

After installation and subsequent update and restart of Ubuntu 8.10 Alpha 5, a crash report appeared.

I really didn't expect anything to happen, as I didn't do anything with Compiz. If you need more info, please direct me to a place giving instructions on how to retrieve that information, or tell me how.

Hello!

Have you already tried to reproduce this bug using the latest version of Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex?
In case that you have experienced this problem with the latest Ubuntu 8.10, could you please add your ~/.xsession-errors, /var/log/Xorg.0.log and the output of lspci -vvnn to your bug report as separate attachments?
