Bug Description

The 2.24.0-1 upload of gdl stopped building the libgdl-gnome-1-0 binary package, but this library still has python-gnome2-extras and anjunta as rdepends. Anjunta, and anything depending on python-gnome2-extras is therefore uninstallable.

This is due to the libgdl-1-0 -> libgdl-1-1 transition. I'll fix this.

This is caused by libgdm-gnome binary package being dropped.

From the changelog:

gdl (2.24.0-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * New upstream release.
  - Remove now-unused libgdl-gnome binary packages.

However, it seems like libgdl-gnome is indeed still used (both Ubuntu and Debian) as python-gnome2-extras and Anjuta are two examples of direct dependencies. python-gnome2-extras has a number of dependencies (roughly 45 binary packages).

Either we need to reinstate the libgdl-gnome binary package or ensure that we eliminate the rdepends before Intrepid release. Setting an appropriate importance.
