Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdar

kDar is not in the Hardy Ubuntu repositories.

It went unmaintained for a few years, and was removed from the Feisty repositories.

It is currently being maintained again, and builds in Hardy.

kDar should be placed back into the repositories.

Sorry if I did something dumb here. Clearly I'm new at this.

Bug #94274 is about the removal of Kdar. If you read the more recent comments, you will see that Kdar now builds in Hardy, and that kDar was updated earlier this year. The comments also talk about putting kDar back in Ubuntu, and talk about how a new bug needs to be created if kDar is to be put back into Ubuntu.

Reopening.

It isn't ported to KDE 4 (yet).
From 8.10 onwards we don't include new KDE 3 applications, thus kdar is no candidate for packaging right now.

Reopen the report with new title and description once a KDE 4 version is available.

Thank you.
