glipper applet always encounters a problem while loading

Bug Description
Binary package hint: glipper
After nearly every startup, an "Error" dialog appears, saying:
The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID:Glipper".
Do you want to delete the applet from your configuration?
Don't Delete/Delete.
If I read the glipper applet, it wors fine. One out of ten starts this error does not happen, then I often end up with two glipper applets on the panel, if I didn't click Delete the last time.
Current i686 Hardy. How can I debug this further?
